Wot fettl all.........peace, love n blessings to all you biker kats (n kittens...don't f orget the kittens now... ), I'm a new guy to the forum, found it by accident (here, don't mention the A word........brings back painful memories but not a lot - more of that in a mo.....). I was actually trying to find the Anne Summers site but as my synapses are a bit screwed since 1997, here I am ........Eeeh but its big innit?? (stop sniggering at the back - Ever Ready is being serious..)
Right then - a potted history .......er........can we say pot in this politically correct and mad, mad world?? Well if the moderators bin it so be it.
Now where was I?

Oh yes..........right then, I am male (except when its cold and then even I have to hunt a bit if yer see wot I mean like..........) and have been a traveller on life's twolane blacktop (with an occasional blind alley, dry stone wall and cul de sac) for ooooooooh 54 years. Married, (twice - my first wife died in 2000 of the big C at the age of 49 - I nursed her for 7 years till the end and I tell ya it's the hardest thing I've ever done ........apart from riding a CZ that.is......)
I married again in 2002 and inherited two grand stepsons with the bargain to add to the two great sons of my own from my first marriage. One, my youngest, is in the British Army, N.C.O. currently in Belfast till May, my eldest is a sea going engineer. Both are spoken for and my eldest has a daughter.
My eldest step son is summat in the computer black arts, married with two kids, my youngest stepson - bit of a lad, two kids, another on the way and one of this country's non wage earners - thought I'd say it before somebody else did...........I am fiercely proud of them all and love them without reservation, my two angelic grandaughters are the badge in my beret (7 going on 35 n 5 going on 19........the still to be is another grandaughter so I'm told, due in April).
Now me?, well I'm 5 ft 7, 11 stone, disabled, have a very fetching solar panel from just above me eyebrows to the back of me neck, have tattoos and a beard - it was a bit longer up to a few months ago when me eldest grandaughter decided to dress me up and tried to dye my beard with nail varnish.........it did'nt work n jeez it stung like buggery.........
I spent most of my life in uniform working for Big Lizzie and the Crown until a training accident in the live fire training house went tits up which left me disabled and medically discharged in 1996 with a disability pension. As if that was'nt enough I then was involved in an unsolicited anal snog on my Dragstar with a volvo driver of the feminine persuasion in October 1997 (so I'm told) which resulted in her having her evil way with me and being joined in the festivities by a Dutch trucker on the M40 who thought it a jolly wheeze to see how far I could be squeezed under the tractor unit.Result - an extended period in intensive care, eighteen months of therapy learning to walk and talk again and a large chunk of memory loss - so If I owe you money, tough tittie - I can't remember.........I was unable to ride or do much of anything really for almost seven years when my kindly doctor took pity on my auld carcass and despite all of the evidence went out on a limb and allowed me back on the road. So now I work - temp work in a wood mill where I am a wood machinist and I ride - or I would if my auld Intruder would play fair and let me get my leg over......Bit like marriage really........
I now live in the independant colony of Banburistan where I am a white ethnic minority but I was born and bred in Geordieland - WY AYE Y' BUGGER MAN - AHM AAL REET HOWZ YASEL LYK?

?? eh?? wot?? MOTHER!!!!!!! THERE'S A STRANGE MAN ON THE WEBB TALKING FOREIGN!!!!!!!
I love rock music but am firmly stuck in the 70's - none of this rap crap for yor bonny lad nah...........
After 23 n a bit years in uniform I have little patience with biker attitude or biker bullshit. I am politically aware and have to say that I am very saddened at the way our great country is going with political correctness overriding common sense.
I am a side patch club member and I wear my colours with pride. I am an active member of MAG AND NABD and support both whenever possible both financially and with whatever this tired auld body can muster.
I do like a good rally.............oh and I smoke to excess much to the horror of my doctor, don't drink much ( as I tend to spill most of it due to my "rolling gait" - balance problems to you no medical types) and when I go to a rally my pannier rattles like a mobile dispensary which all to sad to say it is.
Other than that lot then not a lot more to say really. I look forward to posting with you all and sharing a lively debate. I believe in the democratic right of evry person to say what they feel without fear. I may not always agree with your view but I will fight to uphold your right to state it.........
Oh, and I might rant or go off on a tangent from time to time........please forgive me, the doctor says it is good for my depression and hypertension..........me? .....nah, I jus' like a ferkin good argument ......keeps the tubes clear don't yer know............
RIght then I 'm off to watch a bit of telly n get some G.B.H. of the 'ear'ole from my lovely wife for spendin two hours on the computer........I keep telling her I'm dyslexic but she don't believe me...................
Ride on, ride free, love your riding bro n sista cos life's too short to bear a grudge..........see you all on the hard shoulder............
Peace n love to aal of yiz ...........aye.............
Ever Ready
