I'm getting my Buell on Tuesday and I'm going to need some way of operating the rear brake as it's a bit of a small target compared to the rear brake on the Nighttrain to find with my prosthetic leg. I don't want my trousers pulling down on price but also don't want any more bits missing on myself either. Any help/advice (apart from getting a trike, been there done that) gratefully received. Ed

Good luck mate you could run a line to a car split master cylinder that will give you linked brakes in a 60/40 split

If I use the 'split' method that will give me braking on both wheels from one lever, yes? If that's the case will I still be able to have the rear brake lever funtional as I still need two seperate systems to be legal even if I can't use one of them. Thoughts???

The rear one will still be there for MOT reasons but you do not have to use it. The splitter version will operate both for you ata set split ration. To stop errors remove the lever.

Update... Repeated physio in the garage (for bleedin hours) means that I may not have to adapt after all. It's still difficult to get the prosthetic back onto the footrest after using the rear brake but that's AFTER slowing down so I'm not that bothered and I'm fairly sure it won't fall off under 90MPH. Many thanks for all your input chaps, it's nice to know you're out there.
